Laser Components
Scientific Materials Corporation (SMC) offers the laser industry the highest quality solid-state laser components available. SciMaxä L.S. grade laser rods are the result of Small Business Innovation Research studies on material purity and truly gives credence to the term "Crystal Clear." SMC’s research has led to numerous discoveries which have been combined to make a superior product. Lasers based on SMC’s rods have demonstrated significantly improved performance including:

       • Increased efficiency
       • Increased output power
       • Increased damage resistance
       • Reduced thermal lensing
       • Higher brightness
       • Higher TEM00 output.

Laser rods are available in HP, SP, and UP grades of Nd:YAG laser components with a variety of dopant ions and concentrations.
